The Portal is open for Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and IT from 27th March 2026. The PhD candidates,awardees of Post Doctoral Fellowship(PDF) and Young Faculty Research Fellowship(YFRF) already selected at host institutions under Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme are elegible for onboarding on the portal.

One Time Registration(OTR) is required to avail the fellowship.

OTR is a unique number allotted to the candidate and is applicable for entire academic career.
